Compliance & confidentiality
Trust needsclear foundations.
In international commodity trading, verifiable information, coordinated checks and clearly defined responsibilities matter. The following topics provide important foundations for further cooperation.
Five key topics
Due care in business communication.
Transparency, clear requirements and structured processes form the basis of professional cooperation. The checks, information and documents required depend on the specific transaction, the seller and the agreed transaction procedure.
Business partners & identification
Clear identification of the companies involved and their authorised representatives is an essential prerequisite for cooperation.
KRP Energy and its refinery and seller partners place great importance on professional, verifiable business communication. We therefore ask you to use only business email addresses with your own company domain (corporate domain email addresses). Free email addresses such as Gmail, Yahoo or Proton Mail are generally not preferred by our seller partners and may lead to an enquiry being rejected.
Documentation / LOI (Letter of Intent)
To process an enquiry, we generally require an LOI from the end buyer with full details of the requested product, quantity, delivery location and relevant commercial terms.
A CIS (Client Information Sheet), company profile and KYC documents may also be required. Depending on the agreed transaction procedure, further evidence such as TSA, CPA or appropriate proof of financing or creditworthiness may be requested.
The LOI must be issued on the buyer’s official letterhead, signed by an authorised company signatory and bear a company stamp.
ICPO requirements
The ICPO (Irrevocable Corporate Purchase Order) must be issued on the buyer’s official letterhead, bear a current date and be signed by an authorised company signatory. A company stamp is required in accordance with the seller’s requirements.
It must include full company and bank contact details, including the relevant bank officer, as well as the transaction procedure approved by the seller.
The details of the buyer and the stated bank account must be verifiable and consistent. By issuing the ICPO, the buyer confirms their willingness to carry out the transaction in accordance with the agreed terms and to provide the required evidence of financing.
Complete and accurate documents enable prompt and efficient processing.
Independent inspection
Product quality and quantity may be verified by independent, internationally recognised inspection companies such as SGS or comparable inspection organisations.
The scope, location and timing of inspections, commissioning and allocation of costs depend on the agreed transaction procedure and the respective contractual terms.
Compliance
KRP Energy values transparent, legally compliant and responsible business processes.
Observing applicable trade regulations, international sanctions and relevant compliance requirements is an essential foundation of our business activities.
Confidentiality
The confidential handling of business information is a top priority for KRP Energy.
Buyer and seller data, contract contents and transaction-related information are handled with appropriate discretion and disclosed only within the necessary business or legal framework.
Our role as an authorised seller representative
KRP Energy acts as an authorised representative of its respective refinery and seller partners and maintains direct contact with the seller. This enables efficient communication, clear coordination channels and structured support for transactions.
Note:KRP Energy does not independently verify or confirm the bankability, financial creditworthiness or authenticity of documents submitted by the parties involved. The relevant checks and decisions are the responsibility of the respective competent parties and institutions.
Clear responsibilities. Transparent processes.

KRP Energy acts as an authorised mandated representative of refineries and sellers and represents their interests exclusively. Our role is direct communication, coordination and support for international commodity transactions.
Responsibility for product specifications, quality evidence, inspections and contractual obligations lies with the respective responsible parties or independent inspection organisations.

The provision of documents, commissioning of inspections and granting of approvals depend on the agreed transaction procedure and the respective contractual terms.
